"Tales from the Borderlands" takes place before the pre-sequel ?

Spring asked Athena to stop her mercenary/bounty hunter activities because it would draw attention.
Does that mean she's still hidden and has yet to be captured by Mordecai and Brick before the interrogation at Sanctuary ?

Wiki says pre-sequel is before borderlands 2, i didnt played it, so answer is lies in question "was Jack still alive at the end of pre-sequel?"

It bothers me a lot. Brick will appear in the next episode. Fiona or Rhys might have lead him to Athena to get rid of the latter. Just my assumption

The gameplay and most of the story of BLTPS takes place before Borderlands 2, but Athena being interogated and talking about the events takes place after Borderlands 2, so really cronologicaly BLTPS takes place after Borderlands 2. I would say TFTB takes place inbetween BL2 and BLTPS, or after the interogation of Athena.

Nope, Athena sounded a bit like a robot to me as well.

With her hood up and with those red, glowing eyes does she sound like a robot, but without her hood (when she is talking with Janey Springs) she sounds normal.

Just so we're clear, the first scene of TPS takes place AFTER borderlands 2. Just watch the first minute on youtube! So stop talking about the timeline. Jeez !
My theory is that Rhys and Fiona are partly or mainly responsible for Athena's capture .
If i'm correct, that would mean TFTB takes place BEFORE the pre-sequel

Jack DIES at the END of BL2
His Hologram wears his mask and has his new Style of cloths so its AFTER the Pre-Sequel (simple elimination here)
So now, after or before BL2? They already Refer to zer0 as a Vault Hunter, so Zer0 already had found a Vault, which he did after BL2. Also Jack is dead, so it has to be after BL2. Also one of the cases in Shades Museum displays Bewm. Well therefore the game is either Parallel to BL2 or after it. Does this settle it? Yes because it can't be parallel because u never tried to find the Gortys Project as Zer0 in BL2.

By the power of THOR people! The presequel is mainly a flashback, what is going on currently is Athena being captured/interigated by Lilith. Whether Tales takes place before or after Athena's capture is up in the air for the moment.

Personally I think she's already been captured but it could go either way.
