Loot Question (Episode 1)
Near the end, Bossa Nova drops a ton of loot. I just grabbed the nearest one thinking I'd be able to grab everything. It didn't give me that chance though.
Spotted a Legendary in the back. What was it, and can you get it?

Unfortuntly I believe you can only pick up one.

Yep, that's what I discovered and it autosaved before I could fix my mistake. Just wanted to know what I missed.

Actually I tried again to discover that legendary, but as soon as I walked past the tediore shield, the cutscene started and the game continued with no new item in my inventory. So, why did they put other stuff there anyway if it's unreachable?

I beleive it might be a gag, remember when you played borderlands and either someone grabbed it before you or worse someone proceeded to the next scene either accidentally or by simply being impatient :P

Gag????
It's just pisspoor game design is what it is.
Played it thru a 2nd time (Ep 1) solely on the premise of going for the legendary shield (or whatever legendary thing it was: you only see the orange "spike" sticking up for it), only to have the game move to cut scene (loaderbot returns) and no chance to actually get over to the other loot "spikes" and get any of them...

Pisspoor game design. Seriously, TTG.
If I had to pay for TftBL at all, I sure am glad I bought it on the half off sale. "Gags" like this justify NEVER paying full price for pispoor game design. Stupid move on the game devs' behalf.
Don't show us or advertise loot we have no access to.
And seriously, a green rarity red text weapon (Bossa Nova ice rifle) for TPS?
GREEN RARITY RED TEXT?

This is not a "Pisspoor game design"
This is a troll.
A good troll. GG TellTale.

Hmmm, what was it that one "savage" said in Son of Crawmerax.... "Check your privilege, d...k"

Seriously, what is the point of
a) loot clear as day in the game they intentionally put just out of reach (has anyone been able to get anything other than the blue tediore shield laying there just before stepping into the cut scene?)

b) red text green rarity weapon? (F. E. S., just up 1 or 2 stats or parts to make it blue. Even modders don't ineptly stumble that low).

troll nothing. legit questions.
GG only up to that point.
Wonky combat control but the story line itself (including very impressive use of the graphics) was a job well done.
Stupid little stuff kills credibility.

How is it surprising that the floor falling out from beneath Rhys distracts the others from looting? Especially after they find the Gortys pieces they've got better things to do than grabbing junk we'll never use.

This is a point and click adventure, not one of the other Borderlands games with their 434334348734 zillion guns and fixation on loot.

It's not "pisspoor game design". Being pushed from cutscene to cutscene maybe isn't the best gameplay design, but that loot thing is basically a parody to the main Borderlands games or the whole looting game franchise altogether. You would only find that awful if you've never played any Borderlands or action RPG game. And no Telltale game either, because if you really think you can grab all there is or that it would actually make a difference for the story or gameplay you haven't understood how these cinematic games work. You are complaining about something that is totally irrelevant anyway.
