Jack \ Rhys question (ep3 spoilers)

So there are two major choices: (1) Trust Jack or Fiona, (2) BFF Jack or not.
As I understand Rhys' EchoEye will change to Jackapedia depending if you trusted Jack or Fiona (not depending on BFF choice).
But Jack will take over Rhys' body ONLY if you trusted and BFF him at the same time, correct?
And if you trusted Jack, but didn't BFF him? Will he still take over control?

Jack threatens to do that. But the thing to remember is that you're playing a Borderlands game and that makes every choice valid. To be totally canon, select the most weird choice everytime. It makes this the best Borderlands game in the franchise.

I actually checked that out. So:

Don't trust, but BFF - EchoEye will NOT change, Jack will NOT possess the body
Trust and BFF - EchoEye will change to Jackapedia, Jack will possess the body
Trust, but do not BFF - EchoEye will change to Jackapedia, Jack will possess the body still
