for me it was felix sound ridiculous right? but for some reason I think this man hide something in this game when u use EHCO eye on him you'll get less details about him you not know who really him is. I mean if this guy come back from dead and become half men half robot or something and been wipe out memory he'll really don't know who the hell he is and that why he want to know the story some point in game you see text like felix will remember that but that not mean felix in story will remember but it mean felix in the mask I think that will shock me in the end

atleast its someone with a deep interest for a vault, so it must be a vault hunter. since we already seen mordecai, athena, brick, zero. mordecai and brick mentioned they had to take care of athena for lilith, so i guess we can also count her out. all of these characters, exept for athena, had knowledge about the gortys project, though knowing zero, he could easily have cloaked following their progress. he was on a quest himself, could easily connect with gortys at some point.

roland died in borderlands 2, jack died in borderlands 2, wilhelm died in borderlands 2. id guess claptrap would be too small for such a big suite but you know gearbox, they can suprise you in multiple ways, krieg is too insane to pretend to be such a character. i never finished the pre-sequel so i dont know who else died there. salvador is too small for such a suit.

im having my doubts about axton though. hes a womanizer, i dont think he would ever do anything to hurt fiona like capture her and drag her through the desert.

for some reason, i keep thinking that its zero behind the mask. its simply the way he is talking that is similar to zero.

well, this is my theory atleast.

by the time ive finished this post, ive edited it like 5x, because of a flawed assumption or because ive figured out new information XD man, its hard trying to figure out who could be behind the mask.

ya, im not sure but i thought he asked rhyss about gortys in the first episode because of a quest he did for moxxi. he had to kill the failed dj badass and said he didnt knew anything about gortys, even though his base was right on top of the atlas bunker.

im starting to believe more and more that zero is the masked guy.

ok back to the begining I mean game trailer we show up and show gortys to marcus. I THINK IN THAT DAY NO ONE IN PANDORA KNEW ABOUT GORTYS PROJECT WAS REAL OR NOT. but when he saw he already knew what is it I mean at this point can clear my mind that why moxxi knew about gortys and try to recrover it. then she use to serch for her. but I don't think he interesting in gortys much because he didn't know it even real or not just guy who ask everyone on pandora do you know about gortys? guy guy do you know it? and everyone say no to him because every atles employer got slaughter by athena and even athena who slaughter atles employer didn't know about gortys project that mean in episode 1 the guy who know about gortys was real in pandora is general pullux who become in handy with his eye (Oops sry general)

It might be Vaughn, since in the last episode he was missing at the end and in the discussion between Fiona and the Stranger she says something along the lines "The only reason you would wear that mask is because we would recognize you" and he agrees. Idk this theory may be blasted out of the water in the next episode but between that and the way he hunches over I wouldn't be surprised.

mask man want to know about gortys project I think Vaughn already know what is gortys project is. so I don't he kidnep there 2 bff to ask about it AGAIN.
