Honestly this is the worst kind of reoccuring joke.
Kind of a bummer honestly once I finished it and looked into who it was I thought: "Oh god I'm sure the entire last fight would of been amazing him being there!"
His part of the fight involves him creating a bunch of weird growths on mecha Gortys (Rocket pods I guess..?) and launching some cluster missiles in the air.
I think maybe one actually hits the Vault Monster, the others you have to actually QTE dodge all the while constantly tripping up and generally being incompetent.
It's both visually and thematically pathetic and disappointing compared to all the awesome moves the other characters do in that sequence.
Claptrap is widely hated and has an obvious divide in the community, so I have no idea why the devs actually catered to this request.
About the only redeeming qualities was just like Stalkermaster said in that all the dialogue and other characters are pretty much in agreement that he's just an annoying burden joke crap character.
'What's your refund policy?" was one of Fiona's better lines ;)
Yeah he only gives you the money if you make contact with him, which you can also not do if you either killed him or thought you killed him. But he leaves once you make the team and you choose someone else so you should always pick him
