What made you think this game had any online components at all?
Well its borderlands :P
You pass the controller/keyboard & mouse to the other person at suitable points.
A Borderlands side game created by Telltale who have zero history of making multiplayer games.
Fair enough. It's set in the borderlands universe but it's not at all borderlands playstyle.
It's hilarious though.
have NONE of you people played a telltale game with crowdplay?
I entirely ignored the function but that's still not multiplayer in the context they are after.
