Unlocking Zer0 and Janey for the end fight bug

I am not sure if this is a bug or simply because of earlier playthrough choices.
I am playing the copy I received for free on Twitch Prime.

For Zer0, I know you are suppose to reveal yourself to Mordecai as a Vault Hunter and you'll be able to have him on your team. I did this and still Zer0 will not be unlocked. It has happened through two playthroughs already.

For Janey, I know you are supposed to honour Scooter. I did it twice in both playthroughs and it still states that I am a cold person and she would not join me.

I'm sure it is a bug becuase I did those on my first playthrough, same free version you have. That sucks to know I can't fix it by replay.

For Janey, you also need to tell her that Athena loves her when she asks you if Athena had any last words before being captured, afaik.

As for Zer0, as you pointed out, you just need to tell Mordecai that you are a vault hunter. If you did not have the option to recruit him, it could be a bug but I can't say for sure.

I just finished a playthrough on a bought copyof the game. I told Mordecai I was a vault hunter but I noticed Zer0 was locked at the end (I didn't try to get him initially, but after Felix failed to show it let me pick other options and Zer0 was listed as being unavailable).
