What exactly is FC "Germany Reforged"
Is it just a scenarios pack or does it change the gameplay ? Should I have it ?
So far I just have the original game I purchased in 2014 at release date + possibly patches and updates automatically installed by Steam.

It is a DLC with the maps (4) and scenarios from the original Flashpoint Germany redone to work in the Red Storm game engine.

Ahhhh ! I now understand. The ancestor Flashpoint Germany ! This is the point I missed !
Interesting, I will consider buying it. FG was a great game too, I had good time on the maps:-)

And also, second question: what is the "player's edition" ?
Is my version out of the box at release date outdated ?

Are you on Steam with the game or a Matrix version? You can the games version in either on the main menu screen in the lower right corner. The Player's Edition was what we called the 2.0.6 update do to all of the new features added at the request of all the players.

2.0.11s is the latest and greatest. Check the What's New document for all the features and tweaks and bug fixes.

This game is great and incredibly fun ! I still enjoy it a lot after two years. The ancestor Flashpoint Germany was already a winner. Looking forward for the 3 :-)

Reading the what's new doc. Great doc ! Good that the developers are so dedicated to the game. Great changes in 2.0.10 and 2.0.11.

Pete, we are glad you like the game. We are full speed ahead on Southern Storm game work and hope to improve the quality of the game even more in the new game engine.

I would really appreciate more campaigns, scenarios feel pointless in their individuality.

There have been several campaigns added since the original release of the game. They can be downloaded for free on the Matrix FPC forum.
