I'm running with two monitors with no problems, game defaults to the main.

I have three monitors here, absolutely no issue, defaults to my Xorg main monitor.

Why do you "have" to?

Try running the game in windowed mode, that can fix many smaller issues with games that aren't completely optimized for multiple displays. I'm running three monitors (one of them is a TV) and the game runs fine, I just have to run it in windowed or else one of my other monitors might freeze while the game is running.

Maybe my problem is i have 2 different monitors with different one 1920x1080 and one 1680x1050

That's strange, because I have two monitors of different size at work, and it works well. Perhaps your monitors are on two different GPUs?

I have two monitors too, with different sizes and even aspect ratio (16:9, 1920X1080 and 16:10 1440X900) and it works fine.

Im using a laptop with a ATI AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series and a Intel Core i5 520M @ 2.40GHz and 3 gb ram and a OLD sdd with 20GB so no but i think it the screens that dont "like" each other the one is a gaming AOC nividia G-Sync monitor and the other one is a Lenovo Work Monitor

That does sound like each monitor is on its own GPU. Is that right?

I concur that multi monitor is currently broken/incomplete(in GNU/Linux) as instead of the game using the display set to 'Primary' it defaults to the display plugged into the 1st port. :)

pdq, but in which distribution, which windowmanager... there's so many cornercases in that space. :(
