going to try to get a guide up with good spots for weapons and large noct spawns. So far military base is the only common location that I dont need to post coordinates to.

I backed this game [kickstarter] when I found it on imgur, because I love the concept. Unfortunately for me, I can't really play it, because the wasd movement, independent of which way the survivor is looking, is physilogically impossible for me. I just don't have the hand-eye coordination to operate in that way.

Is there a setting I can change, that I missed or misunderstood? Something to make my survivor move in the direction he is facing when I press w?

As much as I love this game, the update with low graphics is a bit of a downer. Adding an option to choose between graphic settings would make it.

It's the game style. The graphics are good, just pixelated on purpose.
I do get that it's the new style but now it feels like I'm playing the game on low graphics. Just looks a bit too pixelated in my opinion.

Thanks so much for your advice. It's a neurological issue, so I'll just switch to a different brain.

i believe that is hard coded in the game so there is no option to change it or to remap keys to make that work. However if i can make a sugesstion have you tried playing with a controller?

It will still work the same way yet you can push both sticks in the same direction so that the player movement and looking direction syncs up all the time.
essentially you would just have to get used to pushing both sticks in sync with which ever direction you wish to be in, with what you described i do not know if this would actually help but is the only thing i can think of as a "hot fix"

edit: fixed spelling errors

Pleb, thanks for the suggestion. I'll eventually give it a try, when I get bored with my other games and come back around to Noct.

In the next hotfix there will be an option for mouse look under the keyboard mouse to allow for things to be a little more first person-centric. This is purely optional, and may be what you are after there.
