Getting around 10fps on the lowest resolution and lowest quality?
i7 quad core 1.6ghz cpu, Nvidia 240GT, 8gb ram.

I get over 60fps in css and tf2 and the like. Other games are no problem as well. It shouldn't be lagging like this.

Did you have problems in the first level? I've just completed the game, and I've significant lag on the second level. The rest of the game played fine for me, though. You might want to reconsider your review and play it through once, if only the second level caused you problems.

Guess it is a problem with artists making games with very limited game and programming knowledge. Still, for such a cheap game, I liked the experiment!

Cheers.

Unfortunately it's too slow for me to even get past the first level. I lag too much to be able to jump and use the platforms or whatever the hell I'm supposed to do.

Also unfortunate is that I haven't heard from the devs at all. I'd have thought they'd watch the forums for bugs like other devs that use steam do.

The only thing I can think is that it's only using one core so my CPU is being the bottleneck. That or a driver issue with Nvidia maybe. I don't know. It's not my job to find out, so I've made a forum post and a negative review. If the devs want to try to help out, then I'll put more effort on my side, but otherwise it was a cheap game so I'm not too upset by it.

Don't blame the dev. First because she developped this alone, and second because your NVIDIA is wayyyy too old to support the graphics.

Take a look at the minimum config.

I'm having the same issues. My specs should run it just fine though.
Have you heard anything further about about a fix?

I haven't heard anything but I haven't looked either. I have a newer laptop now though with a much better gpu and cpu, do you want me to see if it works now?

Ok, I tried it just now at 720p on the highest setting and it ran very smooth. Probably 60fps but it was at least 30 because I didn't see any choppiness at all, but I don't see a frame rate anywhere.

My specs now are a

Intel Core i7-4720HQ Processor (2.6 GHz)
GTX 860M
8GB ram

Also I'm running it on an SSD now as opposed to last time an external 7200rpm drive. Both the CPU and gpu are a lot faster than my last one though. The GPU is about 4x faster. Compared to a desktop gpu it's not much, but compared to my last hardware, it's 4x faster.

Must be something to do with the system specs, not sure what though. I've ran it on the lowest resolution, lowest detail both full screen and windowed, and nothing made a difference to the 1 FPS on the first level.

I've also ran the game's .exe in compatability mode and as an admin, with no change. Also tried changing all the settings in nvidia's control panel for this game specifically to no effect.
