is it me or does the bad graphic make this game SUPER amazing.
I really enjoy the back in the day style graphice than new ones.... so much time and effort gone to waste when releasing top graphics. then games later down the road or months go for 50% off lool losing instant sales like when a car leaves a dealership 10k is off the price tag for resale loool

i love grandia graphics but wish they have mouths xD LOL it looks so weird but funny

In art history, photorealism has already shown its limits, in sculpture, in painting,...It is a worthwhile direction to take because it incentivize the developpment of technologies, like photography, cinema, and nowadays videogames. but there are only two ways your work will age well : a good art direction, or perfect realism.

games take twice as long now to become remastered or created sadly. i wish there was a way to make them easier. i would love a remake of vagrant story psx
The character models remind me of the chibi artwork of characters in the early Final Fantasy games.
Very simple, but very nicely detailed all the same.
For some reason a lot of this game also reminded me of Golden Sun from a visual standpoint.
I wouldn't quite call them "bad" but it was good for the time. Wild ARMS for PS1 now that had bad graphics lol. But there is definitely a weird level of too real of graphics in a game that can detract and pull away from the story.

I personally have also been torn between if voice acting is a good thing or not in games lol

I didn't find it that bad lol, I have both on PSN played on my PsP. I legit think it was THE first game to use 3-D models...so you can't judge them too harshly for being terrible haha
