The fact that they left out steam achievements as a Steam feature would imply these are things being upgraded on the Steam version. So it seems to be a big upgrade coming to the version of 2 already available as opposed to leaving it the same and just getting 1 or getting a separated other version
Sounds like this version will be upgraded for existing owners.
Edit: They clearly say so- "Additionally, GRANDIA® II Anniversary Edition will be renamed to GRANDIA II HD Remaster, which will be sold separately from GRANDIA HD Remaster on PC."

It never came out in Europe and I am fine with English only.
If we get it, can we close up the story holes?
Maybe SE will remaster Grandia 3
It's funny that this will be getting renamed, since it was originally *supposed* to be called Grandia II HD Edition before it was renamed to Anniversary Edition.
I just, still, want to know if one of the original features they listed on the announcement for the Switch version is going to get updated on this version: "Fix PC video/audio desync and switch to XInput". That first part was one of the big things I disliked about this version and would love if it was finally fixed.
