Substance Designer 5

Substance Designer 5

When quitting, designer.exe continues running in the background.
When I hit exit Substance Designer 5 seems to close, but a few hours later I noticed in Steam that the program had been running for several hours (I've only used it for < 1 hour so far).
So, I opened task manager and the program was still running.

Hi,

I asked the devs about this issue. Is this happening each time you close SD?

Cheers,
WEs
Same here, think it happens with Painter too (need to confirm). Happening with Designer right now, can't see any related processes and can't even exit Steam :(
HI,

I'm sorry for this issue. I have asked the devs for more information. I can't seem to reproduce this issue on my system using Steam. I'm on Windows 10 64bit as well.
I'm no longer able to reproduce this issue for some reason?!

Are you running the latest build? I'm running 5.3.1 and can't seem to reproduce the issue.

Cheers,
Wes
Just tried it myself and there was no problem this time

Yes, I'm running the latest build 5.3.2
I seem to be experiencing the same issue over here. I'm running the lastest build on windows 10 64bit

When you exit Steam, you are still seeing SD running?
I actually cannot exit Steam after I close Designer until I go to the task manager and manually end the designer.exe task.
I'm on Windows 8 64bit though.

Same issue. Win7 x64.
Manually finishing steam.exe in task manager seems to solve the problem.

I have same. The fix is press CTRL+ALT+DEL, it closes automatically after that. You dont need to close Steam.
