Animation mods?

So the desktop mate official website has a section that says "Popular Desktop Mate Mods" and lists "Animation Enhancer" as a popular mod. Except you can't find said mod anywhere. The website says to download popular mods from the website itself and there are basically no mods on the website.

What's going on here? Is this just a horribly designed website? Is the "popular mods" section just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and there aren't any mods? Or am i just an idiot and i can't find them

That's a fake website. The official website is the one listed on their Steam page, this one:

https://www.infiniteloop.co.jp/desktopmate/

I made a tiny search on google and found the website you're talking about. Notice how the whole About/Privacy/Social sections at the bottom just doesn't work, plus the poor design of the site.

As an addition, the devs (Infiniteloop) didn't made any statement regarding about supporting mods or not, so it makes no sense for the website to have a modding section.

That's because there was a guide purge recently from the devs. Unfortunately, I never used that mod so I don't have any source or links.
