背景が黒くなり透過しない現象について/Issue: Background Turns Black and Does Not Become Transparent

    • SteamVR
    • Steam Remote Play(Steam

----
We have received reports of an issue where the background turns black and does not become transparent in "Desktop Mate." We are aware of this issue and are currently investigating it.

This issue has been reported to occur in situations with high rendering loads. The following steps may help resolve the problem:
  • Go to Settings → Graphics Settings and change the settings to "Low."
  • In the graphics card (GPU) settings, turning off the Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA) setting may help improve the situation.
  • Additionally, the issue may also occur when using the following high-load applications simultaneously:
    • SteamVR
    • Steam Remote Play (Steam Streaming)

Try closing these applications before launching "Desktop Mate" to see if this resolves the issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to address this matter. Further updates will be provided as soon as new information becomes available.

same problem here. Changing the settings doesn't solve it.
yeah, this doesn't work.

Another workaround:
- While on Steam Library, right click on your app => Manage => Browser Local Files
- Right click on DesktopMate.exe => Properties
- Go to Compatibility => Change high DPI settings
- On High DPI scaling overrride => Tick on the checkbox and select Application => Click OK
- Go to Steam, right click on your app => Properties => Verify integrity of game files
- Start the app again and the black background will be gone

Disable FXAA Anti-Aliasing in NVIDIA Settings and it will be fixed
So I have tried all of these methods, I have tried the override and tried disable FXAA and the other one and I still got black screen. The only thing that seemed to work was setting it to low and then the black screen went away. I wish I did not have to have it on low but at least I manage to get rid of that damn thing. Hopefully an update and resolve this problem.

Turn off MFAA and FXAA from the NVIDIA control panel.
Go to the install location and find the DesktopMate.exe, right click > properties > compatibility > check the box "Run this program as administrator", after this restart steam
launch the program and it should not have the black or blue background

Same problem but with AMD graphics card. Just getting acrylic like background, not transparent.

Did all of the suggested solutions, now the background isn't black anymore, but it's not fully transparent either.
