Can't open the app

For some reason, DesktopMate will just flash white but never fully open. It will keep trying to open itself repeatedly but nothing happens.
I'm using Windows 11 and it worked fine before, but not now. What can I do?

(1) If the app suddenly stopped working recently, the issue might be related to the Windows 11 24H2 update.

Please run Windows Update and make sure your system is fully up to date, especially with the updates KB5050009 and KB5050094 installed.


(2) Change the Steam "Client Beta Participation" option to "No beta chosen"
1. Open the Steam settings.
2. Click on the "Interface" tab on the left.
3. Change the "Client Beta Participation" option to "No beta chosen"
4. Restart Steam
