Note that proxy files don't show up on any of your media lists in Movie Studio 13 Platinum. Once a proxy has been created, Movie Studio will use it as needed seamlessly, without interrupting your workflow.
Movie Studio preview lags for me when 2 or more videos are on timeline, thats why i need this feature (i didnt have this problem in vegas, i also tried different settings, some helps a little but none solves problem in 100%)
It seems that for some reason the proxy rendering process is failing on your system. It's getting far enough to create a file with the right name, but not actually putting any video in that file. This also explains your "Missing Media" message. Movie Studio sees the proxy and tries to use it, but there's no video in the file.
I've never encountered a similar issue before, so I don't have any recommendations off the top of my head. Our technical support will need to gather some more information about your particular system in order to troubleshoot the issue further.
