How to fade audio
I'm trying to fade audio like you would in vegas pro; I know it's possible somehow, I've done it before; but all the tutorials online say a completely different, more frustrating way. Any assistance would be appreciated.

here is one way to do it .

on the Track Controller , track number box , Right Click track number box to open context
menu , mouse down to insert Envelopes , Volume , to place a blue Line across the entire
audio clip . With mouse , Left mouse Double Click the blue line to add an anchor point .
At the very end of the clip , add another anchor point . Vertically drag downward the last
anchor point to Zero . you now have the Fade .

At the previous anchor point , Right mouse click the anchor point and select the type
of fade that you want , Linear , Smooth ,....etc ,...

Hold Ctrl key while mouse moving an anchor point , for fine tune adjusting .

Select the advanced editing mode, then down and on the left you can get fade selection, then just click and drag on the parts you want to fade out.
