keyframe one of the Event clips .
then Copy the Entire set of keyframes
( drag to select all keyframes , right click Copy ) ,
then Paste it all onto the other Track's Motion dialogue .
both Tracks\clips will now track each other .
one Track Controller is dedicated to each video track .
on the Track Controller is a "Track Motion" icon .
with Track Motion , you can move and size the image .
Click on the Track Motion icon .
Below , you will see the Keyframe Diamonds , if you have
Moved the image .
Interpolation of motion occurs between the diamonds , along the TIme Line .
on some FX Effects there is a button at the lower left "Animate" button ,
that opens the keyframes dialogue at the bottom .
on other FX Efrfects , there is No "Animate" button to click on ,...
instead , there is a tiny "Clock" icon next to the sliders .
click on the Clock icon to open the keyframes dialgue for that slider .
Keyframe
comes from classic hand animation .
the Keyframer person only draws the Major "Key" frames .
might be just 2 keyframe images .
then the hard working animators had to draw ALL of the in-between frames
"tweeners" for short . could be 24 frames to draw , between just 2 keyframes .
( be glad we don't need to Draw the in-between frames ) , all we need to do
is to Set the "Key" frames .
here , the editor interpolates the postion along a linear path , from keyframe
to keyframe ( the diamonds )
"Hitfilm" video editor
has auto tracking to Build a set of keyframes and interpolation ,
i expect that Vegas pro can do that too .
all the functions in video editors come from classic
hand animation concepts and graphcis programing techniques
and the film industry .
press F1
and read the Help file , is a good place to start .
Gold Dust looks too much like Uncle Fester .
so , it's either Shasha , or Roman .
i can put pics in the "Artwork" button in the profile .
with comments on the image .
Vegas , MSxxP , yeah it can be overwhelming at first .
the first things i ever did was just simple drag N drop ,
"cut" is called "Split" .
I learned a lot about Vegas by reading PhotoShop books
PhotoShop Elements that used Layers for compostions
( i never read about the built in funciotns ,... nothing there ) .
also , study graphic's programming .
i was just lookling at HItfilm editor ,...that looks complicated .
as complicated as "PhotoShop CS" or "Adobe After Effects" .
if someone knows "what can be done" ,...trying to do it ia new
editor can still be a challenge ,... Hitfilm has a Ton of Tweaks .
( One button special effect , ain't gonna happen )
if you do read a book on PhotoShop Eleemtns ( there are some
good ones out there ) , do NOT get the book that talks about using the
Red Eye removal stuff , ( those books are all junk )
it must be a book that uses Layers that are used to make
adjustments and special efrfects . ( Vegas and photoshope are similar ) .
are there any good books on Vegas ? No , none that i have ever seen.
don't waste your time on that .
another way to make multiple tracks , track each other is by :
make 1 Parent Track , make the others tracks Child Tracks ,
then use the "Parent Track's" Track Motion , so only
1 work thru of setting the keyframes is needed , and all
child tracks will "Track" as a single entity .
i have 3 Steam Guides to look at .
go into Steam Profile ,
to quickly find the 3 guides .
you will figure it out .
Tip :
don't dry to make a Project right away .
instead , doodle with keyframes ,
doodle with it , to get the Hang of It .
Later , you can then do something conceptual with it .
