Green Video?!?! HELP
I bought this months ago and I have tried everything do make this work. But when I drag the file into Movie Studio it is green. I don't know what to do I use OBS to record. But sense this doesn't work I have to use Windows Movie Maker witch doesn't have many features that I would like. If you have any tips or know how I can fix this please tell me.

From what I observed its most likely problem with codecs what exactly I don't know it can be anything in ether case you gonna have to get rid of codecs you have installed and reinstall them.

But if you don't feel messing with that I suggest you go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MovieStudioPlatinum130\Movie Studio Platinum 13.0\FileIO Plug-Ins

and in that folder rename folder (most likely called "compoundplug") by adding extra letter or something like that ("compoundplugg").

This will force to use secondary codecs for mp4 but if your video uses other encoding then not only that this trick won't work but also for others there is no secondary plugin only mp4 has two.

Green screen only happens if there something not installed correctly and this software is very sensitive about that but with your video its prob alright.

Likewise! Thank you! I've been derping out hard on this - and have been doing the painful, upload to YouTube, download again, then run it (which worked). But, now it works! *phew*! Yay! This will save me so much time and effort! :steamhappy:
