what resolution? Fullscreen is not working

Cannot make this work ..
I have normal standard monitor with ratio 16:9 (i think) ..
Can go from like 640x480 to 3620x2036
what kind of resolution even is that? Why its not normal?

Also .. chaging it from 4k to 2k to QHD to FULL HD changes nothing .. the only thing that changes is the size of window and "sharpness" i guess? See the text on a picture ..

The ratio is also weird .. like for a wider monitor .. 21:9 or something .. i have zero experience with this ..

The black you can see on the picture is fullscreen .. the image is in the middle of the screen all the time, never fullscreen .. i can see the black edges all the time and its unplayable

tried fullscreen .. windowed .. windowed fullscreen ..

any suggestion how to be able to play?

maybe worth mentioning ..
intro and loading etc is fullscreen .. just the gameplay is totally messed up

checked some nvidia experience setting, havent changed a thing though but started the game via nvidia drivers and its better .. still not proper fullscreen .. there are still black edges like 2x3cm .. but its kinda "acceptable"

quit, started it again via steam .. bad ratio again .. started again via nvidia, its better ..

even though nvidia says its running 4K ... game says its running 1280x800
its probably just the 1280x800 what the game says because the text is kinda low texture, blurry, hard to read ..

when i start the game via steam, its not 1280x800 by default and when i change it to 1280x800, its not the same as it is from nvidia

there is something funny going on

EDIT: Got help on reddit and solution to fix this permanently was in

CONTROL PANEL NVIDIA > Display > Adjust desktop size and position > check "fullscreen" option ..

now the game is in proper ratio and proper resolution
