can't complete challenge room

So I hit a challenge room in Terralava (you get an extra player and an NPC who says -something-, but there's no voiceover for the challenge). It's a twisty path around a couple of rooms with a targeting cannon, which is fine, except the last passage has a knockback pylon thing in the middle of the passage, and you can't squeeze past it to actually finish the room, nor can you leave since the door in locks behind you.

So this run's stuck and unwinnable. Boo.
