Crossplay with other platforms

Hello,

I was wondering if I will be able to play the game in online co-op, if I buy my copy of it on Steam, and my friend will have it on GoG?
Do you think that the online co-op option will be implemented with such situations in mind? And if so, how about crossplay between different consoles - PC and Switch in particular?

In my experience, if a Steam store page doesn't specifically list "online co-op" as an option, it doesn't support it. The "co-op" tag on the store page is really sort of a red herring that doesn't mean anything imho. Only the "local co-op" tag means anything.

The Kickstarter page makes no mention of online co-op. It only says:

Local Multiplayer Modes:
PvP
Challenges
Endless

So I hate to be a party pooper but it doesn't sound like any online play is supported.

Steam-GOG crossplay should be possible, but I don't expect PC-console at all. Online wont be available at launch anyway, so we'll have to wait and see.
