So It's been a couple months, how's the Online Multiplayer working out?

Online multiplayer works but through Steam remote play or are you guys looking for a standalone multiplayer other then this option? I would like to see that myself.

The joining party also has to deal with degraded visuals which in my opinion is worse than the input lag.

The last dev post I saw on this -- talking an official online co-op mode -- I think was this one by Rufus in late September:

It's one of our top most priorities to deliver online co-op! We're working on it - and as soon as we're ready, we're going to announce it. :)

I assumed their focus through late November was on the Switch release.

My hope is that the Steam Remote Play feature -- which in my limited experience simply doesn't work as well or smoothly for both players as well as a "real", supported online co-op experience -- didn't derail their plans for a more official online co-op mode.

We know you can't wait for the online co-op to be added to Children of Morta! We're working on it along with other updates, worry not. But in the meantime, Steam has launched an awesome functionality called Remote Play Together. It lets you play local multiplayer games with Steam Friends online, EVEN when the game doesn't natively support online play. It's a great solution for those of you who just can't wait for the online co-op!

thats what they wrote on nov 21 in their news, so they are still working on it and remote isnt replacing it.
