Now I know, I guess. Would really like a save and quit, or at least a warning of how much unsaved time you are abandoning when you exit the game.
Minimum - a save after a level.
I dont have a problem with the system how it is.
2) I wish I could believe you. Are you sure about that? Every roguelite I've ever played, the levels got longer in completion time as the game went on, especially when you compare early-game levels to late-game ones.
So glad I'm not a developer reading this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Imagine if players had had access to discussion boards when The Legend of Zelda or Metroid first came out. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ & moaning would have been hilarious.
Oh please those were good games. Everyone liked those. This is a dime a dozen indie game that no one will remember in 5 years.
This is fairly standard Roguelite behavior, guys, can we just check the tags or gameplay basics before we start whining about the decision of the GENRE the game is in?
Lol. Hindsight is 20/20. If gamers had had instant access to developers back then, even classic titles would have been pelted with complaints. What would have been seen as flaws contemporarily are tolerated now thanks to nostalgia's rose-tinted glasses. Also, you have no idea what will be remembered or forgotten in five years, & Morta is anything but a dime a dozen.
Pixel art based hack and slash roguelite is suddenly not a thing that had 50 other games on steam haven't did?
