You need to be fast from the beginning.
I hope i remember this correctly.
edit: Just attempted again with Kevin this time. Much much easier.
Run. there is a clear path you have to run through traps and monsters with some chests on the way containing healing potions. You will hit barriers that dissipate once all enemies are dead, but just focus on the ones next to the barrier, because the boss will automatically kill anything he walks over. These barriers exist so you can't get too far away from it.
2nd Part
Defeat waves of small minions until they drop the green crystals, then power up the obelisk to finish a wave. Once the obelisk is fully charged you can move on.
Repeat 1st and 2nd parts until you get to the boss fight.
Boss fight
Hit him in the face and dodge his attacks. you can hide behind the obelisks for some laser attacks, but focus on just damaging him.
Once enemies spawn, attack them to get the green crystal. DO NOT USE IT!
Continue damaging him until another wave spawns, then activate one of the obelisk to heal a lot of health and instantly kill the whole wave, giving you another crystal.
This is a loop that lets you periodically heal up while letting you completely ignore all but the first wave of adds.
If you do too little damage however, the obelisks will run out of uses and you will not be able to heal anymore or get rid of the adds, so keep damaging the boss, you can just heal with the obelisks so you can play rather risky.
BTW, when I saved Mary and her unborn child, I found out that Grandma Margaret is DEAD.
Oops, it's probably a scripted event that I could not have avoided, but how did she died?
I probably have missed the info somewhere, but felt empty and a bit confused about not understanding how she died. Can anyone tell me please. Thanks.
Grandma died because she lost her fight against "it" but weakened "it" enough that "it" fled.
I think I'll have troubles anyway because I have troubles to dodge the boss attacks. I tried 3 characters and was far from it.
I don't understand this design that can stuck you at a boss fight with many gaming elements removed (no runes, and so on).
Not that I do better with close range but it's the first character that seem done it closer but still far and he is already level 15 or something so level up more will be slow. With the kid too low level perhaps it seems impossible. With mark it's not much better, his move attack doesn't work on boss if not at center. And with the last character found, he is the one the died the fastest but ok not sure why.
The only difficulty is surviving until you gain access to the second crystal.
You can pretty much stay in the boss' face and hit him and build up armour, only dodge when you see it doing strong telegraphed attacks. You don't want characters here that lose dps due to repositioning, so the ranged characters in particular I would just not choose.
Using the crystal trick should make this fight incredibly easy. If it doesn't you're simply bad at dodging. It took me a few tries but you shouldn't get stuck here unless you came in with a super underleveled character...
Learn the attack patterns and hack away.
The problem of this trick is as soon as you have enemies spawn you kill them with a crystal, but this work only with a high enough damage output on boss.
Overall yeah it's because Im' very bad for dodging boss attacks, but the trick still doesn't work for me and it's not the problem but the damage output.
In fact I think the trick is bad for my roster, it waste too fast the crystals.
What's desing crap is the game block me in this boredom part with mostly all gameplay elements removed. Otherwise yeah the game suffer a lot for me from difficulty because I have a too low learning curve with it, hence fall into much more grinding.
But this part is just boring, I'll force myself do a few more unfun tries, but after will probably stop play as I can't have any fun from being blocked in that part.
Dude! Wtf spoiler ♥♥♥♥ is this ?!
