Higher resolution? 16:9 ?
Is there a possibility to change the res to something higher?

not with the current engine.

This engine, as Arya said, is too old for it to support any higher resolutions. 2004 for ya.

I have Worms Armageddon from 1999 (Released onto Steam in 2013) and it supports modern resolutions. Must be a different engine...

It was updated for steampipe Shigu, Bejeweled however (excluding the third game, which allows 3D if it doesnt work for the retail) was just the same game with a little tweak for the game overlay to work
