Child Prison Torture?

Can we talk about this? Personal opinion: Children should be removed from the game, it's kinda messed up seeing children being held captive by spiders already without having my knights run up to slaughter them the chance they get.

I got idea - why stop with games? Everyday childrens are used in slavery, dies in wars, get tortured and worse. Lets start a campaign and lets call it ,,Lets remove childrens from our world'' because its not okey. Problem solved.

I murdered the queen last time I played chess. I find it hard to moralise about the treatment of a 24x24 pixel entity with a 500 byte AI, when I murdered the queen in cold blood.

Just play Knights and hunt evil player Lords who kidnapped children to build their dungeons. Problem solved.

I also feel gross about killing kids in a game, an option to not auto target neutral mobs would be nice so I don't have to do it. Heck take it a step further and make it so that maybe one of those kids grows up to become an adventurer and assaults your lair with his group. Make it the end of the kids own campaign with the Player as his bbeg.

In fact, here's a better question, why are you capturing, jailing, and torturing children anyway? You need to go out of your way to capture things. You're literally whining about something you deliberately did.

for some people just something being possible is enough to bother them and these people are most often the type to call for it to be changed. Our friend here likely never actually captured and tortured children they just realized it was possible and was immediately made uncomfortable by that realization.
