How to equip/attach/use glyphs

Still on my first game. Have forged some glyphs. They are now lying on the floors of my equipment storage rooms. Just cannot figure out how to use them. Can have a fighter pick them up and they show on his inventory on extreme left of the page. Don't think it stays there - see no increase in weapon, armour values, etc. Tried a few other ways to equip them with no success.
Don't see many posts regarding glyphs; so it's staring me in the face.
Help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It works the same way as undead basalm use. You order an item to be crafted on the workshop or forges, and you'll see a button show up in the crafting menu. Hit that button and add the glyphs you want to your equipment. They're not like Armor/Weapon Enchantment scrolls that can be used whenever, glyphs are used during the crafting process.
