gold statues and thrones primarily from what I have seen. you can get 4 free pop from stone statues and more pop building the 3 farms but you only get one of each farm

Upgrade the chicken coop and farming line, it provides food for your troops allowing for more pop. You can gain up to 4 pop from each farm type.

Granite statues also give you +1 pop limit, but you can only build 4 of them.

For the castle, you raise it with horses instead of statues.

Technically speaking, you gain four from chickens. You gain eight with pigs and sixteen with cows. With the grand total of spending three levels on animal husbandry being 38. That's not counting any statues or a throne, and of course this only applies to keepers with access to that technology - so basically dwarves, gnomes, necromancers and cyclops can ignore this bit.

Also adventurers which are now counted as keepers for some reason? I was not expecting that.
