Last time I played there wasn't any way. You are supposed to just replace them.

There are however mods that allow undead fixing.

every single one of my undead that have died is because they have become blind and no way to heal it is pretty frustrating

pretty much this. Blindness ist my weakness, just like Stairs for Legless People.

yeh its pretty fun you create some multi headed monster using up alot of parts and first hit in combat blinds all the ones you have so now you have several strong killing machines that cant do anything

Pretty much, especially after a hard fight, most are just blind and have other injuries. Kinda glad im not playing in a European Fantasy World. The disability pension would eat me up before any villain could.

For me there are two types of undeads to employ:

1. Vampires with multiple heads.
2. Disposable Skeletons on Woofs, which you destroy and replace after they get wounded.

There are a few ways, though sadly there isn't a simple "destroy" button. I really wish there was.

1. Drown them. Just walk them into the deep water.
2. Attack them manually with another creature.
3. Dismiss them, they should wander of the map.

I haven't played for a few months, so I don't know if those still work.

Oh, an important safety tip, unequip skeletons before dismissing or drowning.
If I remember correctly, none of those methodes produce a usable corpse.

Undead cannot be damaged apart from losing limbs, the downside is they loose limbs more easily than other creatures even though they are harder to kill. When they have lost a few limbs, they sometimes aren't worth having unless you are playing with a high or unlimited population.

There is one artefact potion in Vanilla that allows you to regrow body parts on your favourite undead, also vampires regrow limbs by draining blood with fangs (iirc).
