Why I can't build a door in tutorial?
I find I can not place the door on the floor, though I have enough wood.

In your case, your hallway is too wide. A door is a 1x1 tile addition, requiring walls on two sides. For your hallway you want to build the wooden gate, which is 1/2 of 1x2 and requires one wall. Two gates built together form a full double door.
