opinons on the new Knight chacters
so ive gotten back into this game after being off for a year [ i think] and came back i like the way the game is going so far one of the newest and most intresting things so far are the two new keepers the evil blackknight and terranical white knight so far ive pretty much decided they are for all intensive purproses a harder diffculty compaired to the dark wizard they do seem to make the early game easier because there less likely to die if something sneezes at them like the mage but mid to late game they seem to be harder because of there lack of spells and there melee dosent really make up for it perhaps after you get adimentum? but ive never been able to get it with the knights thus far the blackknight is an intresting option for the typical evil faction as it does make the early game go smoother with a compitent fighter but other then making master level sorcery a mostly useless upgrade hes not a whole lot diffrent as a lot of minons of evil focus on melee anyways and the peasents for both knights are just a worse type of worker

on the whiteknight they do say there no done yet but damn 4 type of combat units + gnomes is very boring it dosent help the white knight is [somehow] even worse at magic then the black knight not even getting the very usefull heal other skill it is nice he starts with archery even more so consitering youd have to relie on gnomes and dogs otherwise please add warriors to and while your at it id recommend either replacing the white knight with a ranger lord or adding one [as well as adding a white wizard] as he is crap with a bow your starting tech other wise its playable but not particulery exciting even more so with the more dangerious nabors after looking around im kinda glad i spent at lest 2 hours making my home with the chacter so i could get archers and plenty of dogs as back up i would like to recommend adding at lest koblads on every map for the knights to level off as the dark elfs are brutal [iron armor elf sowrd + heal you arnt gonna win that one] so far the white knights are much harder then the evil chacters is boring to play and unrewarding worth maybe one game then moving on though this does bring up an idea id like to see with both sides instead of killing off human settlements either being able to own them as the "good guys' or force them to pay you protection "as the bad guys" yes i know its not much diffrent but would give you a slow but limiless soruce of gold either way

The white knight is arguably easier because of the better units, priests have a default 9 magic level, which is HIGH. Shamans have about 6-7 I believe. The white knight also has specialized archers and knights which can be extremely powerful with weapons and armor, while the evil keepers have to gamble with Orcs and Harpies (Harpies being hard to get). Dogs take no pop and are moveable eyeballs that can attack (Useful with archers). The gnomes are slightly worse than goblins, but they can be insane and be better at workshop/forge (I think). The iron working start is also pretty good, because its normall 3, but 7 is alot better. Also, i'll make a ranger lord later today and add it as a mod on the forums :^) .

I have thought about white knights.

White knights can't do demonology, beast mutation or humanoid mutation. These are the most interesting units and there are no equivilent units for White Knights. I think white knights need to have about another 3 late game technologies. Something like this:

1) "Heros" - recruit up to 3 adventurers
2) "Visitation" - recruit an angel
3) "Forest alliance" - recruit ents

Also, some unique jewellery or potions that you unlock with technology would give a bit of flavour.

Something like that ought to even things out a bit and keep things interesting for the player later on.
Hmm, most of that could be added as technology, the only one not available right now is the unique jewellery, unless you made one unavailable to the other keepers

You could add a speed amulet or damage ring for 1000 gold In the jewellers.
He may be a bad keeper, but his units are better generally than most of the other keepers', even without a succubus for legendary humanoids, thats REALLY late game anyway, at that point you could have like 5-6 fully adamatite knights and a few priests to wreck havoc.
