They declared war on the sea and beat the water with a stick.
The Roman Emperor Caligula once declared war on the sea god Neptune, after which he led his army to the shore and ordered his soldiers to throw spears into the water. He then declared victory and ordered the shells to be collected as trophies. This is probably what feminist struggle looks like from the outside. A sad sight.

That really sounds like something Caligula would do. He also elected a horse to senate. I still think the horse might do better than some of the people we have in there right now.
