Look I don't agree with what he did, but he may have a reason. Usually people give death threads, what to screw your life (i've seen stories on f95, since you mention it).
I don't agree with the dev, but I can understand his decision. You can't fight crazy, unfortunately. Especially since sex is bad (for some reason) in a lot of people minds and nobody will actually help you. this people can't distinguish between fantasy and reality...

Or how about not get it at all and move to another game?

tell the developers to put it back on steam

Yeah. I am not buying the game from elsewhere. I won't even play it for free. I want to own the game on Steam.

"own" and "steam" are a bit ironic, even though in this case you can play the game offline without Steam.

Obviously, I know we don't "own" our games on Steam but if I do buy any games, I rather it be on Steam than anywhere else. I will never buy a game at full price or etc on here or elsewhere.

I know I can play the game offline etc but like I said, I don't want to play this game even for free/elsewhere/without Steam.

I want it on Steam with the rest of my catalog. I will do me, you do you, at least you have the game on here.

Sure, I understand. I just don't get Steam worship. It creates an unnecessary monopoly.

Can we not buy it atm on the site?
itch.io seems to have pulled the trigger now too.

I think the dev should self-host and use his own site to sell the game, because this is getting ridiculous.

Gladly could make a safe backup of both official PC and MAC Versions for preservation. Let‘s see how this continues.

Its not worship - it is using the single best platform available by miles. Objectively the best if you are buying games digitally. Where else you going? Epic? LMAO Their store has failed. Not even the constant freebies and the scumbag exclusivity deals saved them.

GOG of course.

If you understood, then you wouldn't call it "worship"

Exactly.

Most PC players have their own favorite site/3rd party app etc where they buy their games (Epic, GOG, Steam Etc)

Mines just happens to be, Steam. I don't care for any others.

So, if I were to follow your train of thought, then I would say "I don't get the GOG worship" see how that goes?
