MyRPG Master

MyRPG Master

This is realm crafter with a different name.. Scam
Realm crafter with a different name... Never finished that product either nor did any work on it.

It is the exact same thing as the unfinished product they had years ago.

Dont be scammed.

They took down their old site and have one about it being resureccted.

That program never made any progress after promises of it becoming something it could never be. It just sat stagnant like this most likely will. I would be shocked if ANY progress was made on this project since about 10 years ago. Yes its been around that long. Stay away.

We will provide a Huge library (8 years of work with various artists around the world). It's not 200-300 2D bitmaps, but really, really more ^^.

8 years?

Really a pity to see a post like this, french developers have worked a year on this product and It is 100% original, minimum is to respect that.

Pretty big time mismatch if you ask me. I do not respect a company that I have never heard of, based on words. What I do respect is good software with good documentation and proof that it delivers what it promises. All of which you all have not done. So I have no reason to trust that any of you are trustworthy of Early Access or that I should drop $40 for this. And my post still remains unanswered after 5 hours.

Well, i think that there no reason for someone to come in and trow some serious accusations just for trolling.

I'm glad to see this post, maybe i should delay my purchase untill further FURTHER reviews.

Starter devs should have the patiente to carve their trust and respect over the time.

I will keep watching.

Realm Crafter was a terrible high priced tool to make low quality MMORPGs. This on the other hand looks like the opposite and holds promise.

An example of Realm Crafter: http://www.moddb.com/games/mythic-realms
This person is making a game with that engine using the assets it came with.

I Googled it and I see nothing linking these two products. It looks like RealmCrafter split and fell apart for the most part. There are no refrences to this product or any names or companies that I can find are related to each other.

Agreed- big time scam. Stay away.

It's not realm crafter or I don't know what and we are here to guarantee this product is a real original product and will be finished in upcoming months thanks to your help !

So it's taken the developers a year to release a terrain editor? Because that's the only part of this editing software that seems to work so far. Judging by the fact there's about 75% of promised features missing, you mean to say it'll take 3 more years just to have a fully functional editor?

I can hear the refund requests already.

Well, true or not. "if" it comes to the time when these "scammers" try's to take off, steam will take action. Refunds will be served to us and the developers will recieve justice
RealmCrafter has been released as a open-source public edition. There is also a Community Edition and various other branch editions in development.

There is even a RealmCrafter Book:

But this MyRPG Master is a lot better, and at the beginning of its life-cycle.. not its end
Check out Istaria - been going for about 13 years on a Realm Crafter type engine (based on Blitz3d)

Children, this game has been steadly added upon since it's first apperance on Steam. Starting as a terrain editor, and leading to every editor you would need for a rule system as well as class customization and any other toolkit you would need to successfully put together an actual game. Unfortunatly, the only true people i have seen posting on here are people who have yet to purchase the product...sounds kind of shady to me.
You're an idiot, Noktavian. Look at the timestamps of EVERY post except Ash's. Game released on Feb 9th, and almost every post on this thread happened that day. So your whole "game has been steadly added upon since it's first appearance" doesn't mean a thing, since we were talking about this on it's release day.

The only thing shady here is your ability to understand that you're posting on a thread from 10 months ago. That, and your ability to spell the word "steadily".

And I will never purchase this product. I was interested 10 months ago, when it was released. Back then, it was a terrain editor, not a game editor. And seriously, who releases an editing program into Early Access? "Pay full price for this shell of an editor, and you might see the rest later. Either way, thanks for the cash!"

You must know the developer, because you both seem faulty in the logic department.

mmmm... i would say it's the base of trust and crownfunding...?
It's not even a game though, it's software to make a game. Imagine if RPG Maker had an Early Access title where you could only draw maps. It's a horrible idea.

Except you can draw maps, create spells, fight NPCs,... Each day, particulary with daily updates, new game play features are coming.
