Where's Red Storm Rising?

I believe there were licensing problems due to it originating from a book. As far as I know it's never been ported to PC? Was Amiga and C64 only - but I might be wrong here.

i had it on pc back when 640 megs was a huge hard drive. absolutely great game. i play crash dive on steam now which is a good substitute. seeing this game on sale though makes me think of getting the little card inside red storm rising's box for silent service.

I played both the C64 and DOS versions in the past. A ridiculous amount of it, especially the C64. Had that big red floppy disk.

I had Red Storm Rising for IBM (DOS). Love the book, and even though the graphics were not exactly awesome, the gameplaying experience sure was! I hope that we can get it here someday.

There is a new Red Storm Rising game called Cold Waters which is a very good game and an exact modernized version.

I believe you can RSR on Good Old Games.

The two games are similar, especially if you play the US vs. Soviets 1984 campaign.

You guys can go do a search and there are sites that have them you can DL them for free for either the Amiga or Dos. I DL Red Storm, Blackhawks !942, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. Just Google it and rewind the clock.
