Did you launch the config settings, first? It might be because you change your resolution or graphic card.

Right click Sonic Generations on steam library. Click "Config", and set up your game. That should fix everything.

Okay. I would try to verify integrity of the game cache. You can do this from the steam library. Right click it, and go to local files. You should see that feature.

Other than that, I would try running it at forced 30fps or on window mode.

What are your specs? Sorry about that. haha

Is there a graphic card installed? If not, I doubt Intel HD graphics 4600 can run this game.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740

Like I said: did you try to verify integrity of the game cache? Also, I recommend updating your drivers! Try reinstalling it, too.

Other than that, I can't see any reason why you can't run it...

Go to your library then right click sonic lost world then click properties in the drop down menue then go to local files it should be the 4th option down. to uninstall your graphics driver
1) Go into your Control Panel
2) Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon
3) Select the NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers from the list of programs.
4) Click Change/Remove or Add/Remove button.
5) Confirm with Windows that you wish to continue with the uninstal

to install the driver

1) Verify you are logged in with an annount that has Administrative Priviliges. If you are logged in as a Guest or Standard User, Windows will not permit you to install the driver. Download the latest NVIDIA display driver from the NVIDIA Download Drivers page. If your browser asks you if you wish to Save or Run the file, select Save. Selecting Run will save the file to a temporary directory. If a file is saved to a temporary directory, it is possible Windows may delete the file while you are installing the driver which will result in a bad install. Save the driver to your Windows desktop. After the driver has downloaded to your Windows desktop, you will see a new icon on your desktop similar to the screenshot below:

2) If you are installing a new graphics card in your PC, the Windows hardware installation wizard may be installing drivers seperately. If you see following on the botton right-hand corner of your taskbar, you will need to wait until Windows has finished before proceeding with the installation.

3) Right-click over the file with your mouse and select "Run as administrator" as shown in the screenshot below.

4) Once you have launched the NVIDIA display driver installation file, your first prompt will ask you for a location to save the NVIDIA driver files to. These files are not used by the NVIDIA installer and only important if you intend to install the driver manually. You may leave the default location path and select OK to proceed.

5) You will next be prompted to accept the NVIDIA software license agreement. Read the contents and then if you agree, click "AGREE AND CONTINUE" to proceed.

and to uninstall the game just go to library and right click then click deleat local content
