Item bag not working with controller (solved)

When I press down on the second control stick to bring up the item bag, nothing happens. I've tried assigning it to several different buttons, as well as each control stick on x360ce, but no matter where it's assigned, nothing happens when it's pressed. I've also tried with two different controllers (N64 Controller and Wii Classic Controller) with the same result. The only way to bring up the item bag is using the keyboard controls for it. Also, every button and control stick on my controllers work on my other Steam games, it's just the item bag in this game that won't work. I've verified the integrity of the files, and it passed. Is anyone else having problems bringing up the item bag when using a controller?

Edit: I found the issue. For anyone who has this problem in the future when using x360ce to configure the controls, the item bag will be activated by the right control stick's "Stick Button" input. All the other inputs for the right control stick (Stick Axis X, Stick Axis Y, Stick Up, Stick Down, Stick Left, and Stick Right) won't activate the item bag and can be left empty for this game. Whatever you assign to "Stick Button" for the right control stick will be the item bag button.

As of a patch, it has been switched to the D-pad. Oh, wait, nevermind, I was thinking of missions. Either way, nope, it works for me. I have a PlayStation 4 controller, using InputMapper to emulate it as an XBox controller, and the item bag opens up just nicely when I click the right stick.
