Sonic Lost World Lag Fix

Having trouble with this game not running as fast as you`d normally expect? Is Sonic just too slow? Well what has fixed lagging issues for me was:

FIRST STEP: Enabling te public test branch beta from staem by simply finding the game in your library "right click" on "Sonic Lost World" the click "properties" from the drop down menu....you should see it once youve clicked the "Betas" tab then clicked where it says "opt out of all betas"

Second STEP: Setting your FPS correctly.... first i would like to note that there are some glitches that come from doing this which are listed below... Ok now, moving on to the FPS Setting first off go to your steam library then "right click" on "Sonic Lost World" the click properties once again... but this time you will click where it says "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" then type it the blank space without qoutataions "--F30" then run the game.... if its still to slow try lowering the number to the lowest of 15 but not any lower....(game may break)|


KNOWN GLITCHES!!!!

1: dash pads in windy hill act 3 wont always work.. this only applies if your moving too fast

2: in tropical coast the butterflies fly off screen and dont allow completion of level.....

3: in tropical coast act 3 jump after you hit each boostpad on the rails or you may be instantly killed when attepting to jump the minecarts!

4: desert ruins act 2 attempting to chain attack the rows of bees does not work.. also it would be wise to avoid the second bouncy flower that shoots you into the other flower that spits you out or it may cause you to be instantly dead...

the butterflies one? well.... hmm the only way i got past that was by incresing the fps number for instance from -F30 to -F40 or -F50 ,-F60 but if you lagging when its at 60 or 50 try setting it at any number between -F40 and -F50 like -F45 or something like that... youll have to play around with it a while before it works..... sorry

Extra Glitches:Sky Zone Act 1 Turtle Torpedoes will dissappear, making part unbeatable, after Torpedo Part, camera glitches and scripted running scene completely breaks, again, making game unbeatable.

I will try this out cuz I run Lost World pc in 30fps and it's slow and I have the same glitches as it says on the forum.

NEW ADDITION::::: if you set it to -F40 and lower the resolution game runs perfectly

Thanks Legion Zero for the workaround the lag issue. It was driving me mad when I couldn't play the game smoothly before. But since I changed it to beta and changed the launch options to [--F40]. The game has been very enjoyable again.
