Lava Mountain Zone 2 Bomb Carts

The bomb carts are really annoying me. The move so slow with littledistance between other obstacles. Any tips on how to avoid the bomb carts because I try to double jump over them at certain points but still bump into them?

You can hold backwards while jumping to slow your pace down, which makes a good deal of the bomb carts go over bumps or off the rails, but it's otherwise just timing your double jumps.
