and there was like two other factions that i think could be toggled to playable via the factions file i think and not crash the game but i don't remember which ones
and then the mod factions by using whatever mod i'm playing as the salt myself
Ignorant
Thanks very much. I was also wondering, Is it possible to mix different parts from different factions?
One good reason for why is just that no two factions (not counting moded ones) use the same building blocks or weapons.
I have had luck copying ships from one faction to another. However, once imported in to a different faction, you can not edit those ships. But ... you can spawn them. And they may look a bit off.
I sort of discovered this by accident.
I imported a Terran ship in to a Crystalline game to see what would happen. I could not edit the ship ("encrypted blocks") but I could spawn it.
I'm not fully certain I entirely want to do that again ...
