Background sound gone

Hello,

for reasons unknown to me, the background sounds (including Banana Bread) are gone completely. Only menu mouse clicks and sniper shots remain audible. All volume setings are set to 11. Any idea how to fix this?

Hmm, I've heard about this before, but have never gotten a repro. Here's something from the private beta forums (working on steam user access):

As a workaround, unplugging/replugging audio devices while Spy Party is running seems to eventually make everything work properly for both Steph and I, so since it has an easy workaround, this audio issue may not be a show-stopper for the Steam releas, and maybe it can safely go on the back-burner, behind more urgent fixes?

Thank you for the reply. I didn't check this soultion as I re-installed the game in the meantime and the problem is no longer there.
