Styx: Blades of Greed

Styx: Blades of Greed

Requirements?
Could we get any info about the requirements? I know it is too early to be precise but just the ballpark would be cool to know.

Hello, it's too early to share details on the system requirements, but as soon as we have more precise information, we'll update the game's Steam page.
Lmao, i am concerned about this as well. Really hoping my GPU(1660 super) can survive this.

Alright that is fair enough. I shall try to patiently wait for the time you have something to share=)

I probably have similar specs to you so Im concerned aswell lol. Would be such a shame to get hyped up just to find out that I wont be able to play it.

If it was to be released on ps4 it would be no worries but since its ps5 it probably will be quite demaning

The thing is that the requirements can change over the cause of the development, and, there's still half a year until the release.

That is a good point and one that I did not consider. I was just hoping for something vague like maybe if you could play Shards of Darkness you should be able to play Blades of Greed.

But hopefully the requirements will stay around a similar level to Shards of Darkness. The Screenshots do look comparable to the second game so Im holding my thumbs=D

Of course, I don't know for sure, but, I think it's safe to say that the requirements will be quite a lot higher than for Shards of Darkness. The game is 8 years old now, and, Blades of Greed uses a higher version of Unreal Engine, which has higher requirements.

What hardware do you have?

I have an i7-6700K and ah GTX 1080. So I know next to nothing about PC parts but I know my rig old lol so I'm definately concerned. I will mostly need to upgrade it.

The GPU surely will do, but, not sure about the CPU.

Just try it out when it's released. You can always refund the game on Steam, when you experience that you can't run it.

Cool that is reassuring to know. I can run games like Elden ring without much issue so with a bit of luck this will work aswell=)
If Styx: Blades of Greed ends up being another 48 FPS, DLSS on, UE5 slopware title.
I will defile a croissant. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

If it doesn't run properly on my machine, I will personally drive to Nanterre, and throw a baguette through their corporate HQ's window.

Can we at least know if it'll work on win10? I could splurge on a better hardware (probably), but I refuse to touch win11.

Hi @syntia13,

The game runs fine on Win10 as long as DX12 and Shader Models 6 are supported.

Regards.
