I'm confused about character selection

Will you actually be able to play the whole game as Vergil or Nero, or will you still be forced to play as Dante in the later/repeated levels?

nero and dante are the same

lady replaces nero trish replaces dante

and vergil can be used threw the whole game

Don't worry, I'm sure Steam's talented modding community will fix that right quick after the game is released. Until that time comes that we can play the whole game as Lady, Trish, or Virgil, I'm gonna hold off on buying it.

I was kind of actually hoping they fixed the pitfall of having to play the game half nero/ half dante, like giving dante some kind of swing mechanichor something. That was the only pitfall in DMC4. Nero having 13 levels and dante only 7.

Ah well. At least Vergil will be a full-game character.

i found nothing that states wether or not you have to unlock them but i doubt it with them advertised so heavily
