DMC 4 SE Save Issue (I can't load my save)

Hi, I'm having an issue with Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition on PC. I've completed at least 10 missions, but when I start the game, it doesn't give me the option to load my savegame, it just asks me which character I want to play as, as if it were a new game.

I checked the savegame folder at:

makefile
Copy
Edit
C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\CAPCOM\DEVILMAYCRY4SE
and noticed that it's set to "Read Only", but it won't let me unset that option. I've also tried running the game as administrator, but the problem persists.

Does anyone know how to fix this or if there's a way to get my progress back? Thanks!
