Having Trouble Unlocking Vante (Vergil's EX Costume).

I just can't seem to kill the enemies quick enough. Closest I got was like 26. What are your strategies?
I have no problem grinding it out as Sanctus is easy as balls.

use his super costume. infinite DT should be more than enough to get you to that thirty mark

Don't use yamato combos, too slow for killing, spam lunar phase and the summoned swords around him, thats what worked for me

I spammed rapid slash and judgement cut end and got around 40.

Try to finish the battle against Sanctus with the devil trigger bar full, then keep spamming judgement cut end with yamato.

Is it possible to unlock his EX costume in Heaven and Hell, like with Trish?
If it is,that would probably be the easiest way.

The attack is called "motivation."
Joking aside, I just have trouble finishing the Sanctus battle with a full concentration meter. Whenever I am able to do it, I also can only get like two or three out (without being able to wait for them to actually respawn).

I don't have Vergil's super yet. I've only done LDK, and I'm waiting on proceeding with the game until I get the best costume.

I got 26 my first time through. Second time, I mostly just spammed the teleport slash with swords circling about me and comboed from time to time. Secret just seems to be to only use Yamato, since Rebellion and Beowulf don't have good enough AOE, and to keep your swords up around you. You constantly want to be hitting everyone.

I beat the game once as Vergil, and what I did was: I used Yamato, and Force Edge + Summoned Swords. Whenever I got DT, I used his Circle + Triangle attack (Judgment Cut End, I believe?), and I got his "secret" ending and the EX costume.

My problem is that whenever I need to refill on DT, I tend to lose some of my concentration meter.

I unlocked both Trish and Lady's EX costumes by just finishing the game in Devil Hunter mode, and then re-doing the last mission. In the credits minigame, first I was controlling Lady, and then Trish in the second time.

But with Vergil, well, try to get the timing of the Judgement Cut right after the Rapid Slash skill. Rapid Slash + Perfect Judgement Cut can kill the quimera scarecrow and quimera assault (sorry, forgot their official names) in 3 well-landed hits in DMD.

So, for standart scarecrows, they should die in 2 hits (Slash+Judgement twice). After finishing the first Cut, just teleport back to the monster and do it again, pretty simple and as lethal as Judgement Cut End (Y+B/Triangle+Circle). Don't waste your DT gauge with DT+Judgement Cut End, it take too much time to cast the animation and you'll only hit few enemies (well, they'll only spawn after the previous ones died). Instead, you can summon some swords around you do kill them even faster.

Finally got it.
Did a mixture of using spiral swords (I almost never use them in this game) and doing the perfect judgment cut after rapid slash (is that a just frame, what's the name of it?). Just spammed those.
I've never noticed how strong spiral swords are in this game. I managed to kill 62 enemies on my first try doing this.

Actually no. It is to unlock a secret/alternative ending.
