Killing blitz as Trish?

I'd love some great tips on how to beat them with Trish, it's piss easy with the other 4 characters but i can't seem to do it with Trish. Only attack i found that were able to get their shield down is the ordinary guns, there has to be another alternative right?

Use DT and Luce&Ombra will become broken as hell. DRIVE with the Sparda and using Pandora works too. Trish has the advantage of not taking contact damage from Blitz, only from directly hitting him at close range.

That it does! When I DT'd as her last night I droped a Faust's cloak in like two shots. I suprised myself with it.

How do you fight them as Vergil? Summoned Sword spam works, but takes forever and breaks the flow of combat. I haven't unlocked any of the special summoned sword attacks, do those work better?

I spam Blistering Swords and Storm Swords, works everytime.

Blistering swords is your answer to everything that close combat cant answer.

I personally don't get the whole "nerf Vergil 2 OP" discussions, haven't found him any better than the other characters. But i guess that might just be me.

Dante's more OP than ANYONE in the right hands. Vergil's just accessible.

What's the difference between "contact" and "directly hitting" the Blitz? Bc as Trish, I have also been having issues fighting Blitzes.

If you stand next to him as say, Vergil - you'll eventually take damage from the sparks and be staggered. Trish doesn't have this problem. However, if you strike him with your sword while he's still electrified, you will take damage.
