Controller problem (SOLVED)

Hi there,
i started the Nero/Dante campaign and played with Nero without any problems...however, now i reached the first of Dantes missions and i have a problem with my Cordless Logitech Rumblepad 2.
The game does not react when i push those cross-buttons (not sure, how they're actually called), you know, those things you need to switch Dante's style (gunslinger, swordmaster, ...).
The gamepad works perfectly in other games, like Dark Souls 1 and 2, Lords of the Fallen, DmC (Reboot) and so on...
Does someone has the same problem or any idea to fix this?

Weird behavior or those buttons just don't do anything?

Try re-mapping those buttons in the options, like overwriting the existing config

those buttons simply do nothing. i can't use those buttons with other characters either.
i tried to remap those buttons and i can't even select those buttons when i'm in the options, obviously, the game does not recognize them....
dante without style-switching is a bit dull^^

ok, an older version of x360ce did the trick, working fine now :D

Hey everyone. I´ve the same problem with my TRUST GXT530 controller. But strangely, it works fine in standart DMC4 from 2008. Maybe a DirectX problem, or a Bug from this new Port?

C:\Users\YourWindowsName\AppData\Local\capcom\DEVILMAYCRY4SPECIALEDITION

on the config, on the controller settings there is: UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT

change the key bindings to: POV

It should look like this:
LEFT=POV
RIGHT=POV
UP=POV
DOWN=POV

I manually configured mine and I guarantee you this is a straight up fix to the dante style switching issue

Sadly, i cant't tell, since my old hard drive i used for steam broke down, so i can't acces my old DMC4SE folder anymore.
